Tax incentives for residential customers

Take advantage of utility rebates and potential federal tax credits to make energy-efficient home improvements

Under the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 which was signed in February 2018, a number of tax credits for residential energy efficiency that had expired at the end of 2016 were renewed. In addition, you can take advantage of PSE's rebates and incentives for energy-efficiency home improvements, including by purchasing ENERGY STAR® equipment and converting from electric to natural gas home and water heating.

Consult with your tax professional and contractor on equipment qualifications before making a final decision on which home improvements to complete in order to claim the tax credits. For more information on energy-efficiency tax incentives, visit energystar.gov.

For more information on rebates available through PSE's energy-efficiency programs for high-efficiency appliances and equipment, call a PSE Energy Advisor at 1-800-562-1482, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
