February Windstorm

Current update

Restoration work continues today

We know how frustrating it is to be without power and appreciate customers’ patience as we work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

Crews will work throughout the night and around the clock until power is restored to all customers. Our restoration efforts are now focused on the neighborhood distribution lines serving smaller pockets of customers. There are still more than 300 individual damage points on the system and crews continue to find additional damage. Most of the outages are in hard-hit Kitsap County and on Vashon Island. Repairs are often time-consuming and slow-going, requiring extensive work while only restoring power to smaller numbers of customers, such as to 5, 10, or 20 at a time.

Power has been restored to 96% of affected customers. Estimated restoration times are available on pse.com.

alert

Safety first. Never touch or go within 35 feet of downed power lines because they might be energized. Call PSE at 1-888-225-5773 or 911 to report problems.
