February Windstorm

Restoration work continues today

Dozens of crews remain in the field, working around the clock to restore electricity as quickly and safely as possible to customers without power from damage caused by Tuesday’s windstorm. The majority of crews are working in and around Kitsap County, where extensive damage, downed large trees and difficult terrain has slowed progress.

We know how frustrating it is to be without power, and we appreciate customers’ patience. This final stretch of repairs can be time-consuming and slow-going, requiring extensive work while only restoring power to small numbers of customers — sometimes as few as five customers at a time.

Tuesday’s storm impacted over 225,000 customers. Since the beginning of the storm, power has been restored to more than 98% of affected customers.

Estimated restoration times are available on pse.com.
