What you get

Charging your Electric Vehicle (EV) at home with a Level 2 home charger provides faster and more convenient vehicle charging. PSE residential electric customers can receive rebates on the purchase and installation of a Level 2 EV home charger.

Do I qualify?

Rebate/Equipment requirements

• Must be a current PSE residential customer, with electric service.
• Must currently own, lease, or have ordered an EV (electric vehicle) or PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle).
• Must purchase, install, and connect an ENERGY STAR Smart Level 2 charger that is pre-qualified by PSE.
• See a list of qualified products.
• Find a PSE qualified installer.
• Must be installed in a property within PSE’s electric service area.
• Must purchase and install a qualifying EV home charger after 01/01/2024.

Application Requirements

• A copy, photo, or scan of your receipt of qualifying EV home charger reflecting the retailer, purchase date, manufacturer, model number, price, and proof of payment.
• If you are an income-qualified household applying for Empower Mobility rebates, you will need to attest that your income is at or below a certain amount. View the income-qualification table to see if your household monthly income meets the minimum/maximum amounts for your county. If you believe you qualify, you can attest to this on the rebate application.
• If you are qualified for Empower Mobility and your charger required professional installation, you will need to submit a copy, photo, or scan of your installation receipt reflecting the installation date, charger manufacturer/model, price, and proof of purchase.
• Your rebate application must be submitted within 60 days of home charger installation.
• One rebate per qualified single-family residence.
• You must have an online PSE account to apply online.
