Where does renewable energy come from?
All of the renewable energy PSE Green Power customers purchase is produced here in the west and fed into the regional grid. Green Power Program resources:

- These figures reflect the power PSE contracted to provide in 2012 and anticipated changes to the portfolio in 2013. Actual figures may vary according to resource availability. We will annually report to you the actual resource mix of the electricity you purchased during the preceding year.
- New Renewables come from generation facilities that first began commercial operation on or after January 1, 2000.
The electricity generated by PSE uses a diverse mix of resources. PSE's 2012 Electricity Fuel Mix includes: Hydroelectric (42%), Coal (30%), Natural Gas (18%), Wind (8%), Nuclear (1%), and other (1%).
