Over the past five years, PSE has donated more than $120,000 to Skagit County's charitable organizations — without any cost to rate payers — through our corporate giving program and the Puget Sound Energy Foundation. Members of TeamPSE, our employee volunteer program, donate many hours of personal time and lots of energy to support the Skagit County community. We've also distributed more than $5.8 million in energy efficiency grants and rebates to our Skagit County customers.
Anacortes Parks Foundation
A $20,000 grant from the Puget Sound Energy Foundation jumpstarted the Tommy Thompson Trail project for the Anacortes Park Foundation. The project restored a bridge that opens the entire length of the trail for public use.
Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group (SFEG)
Building partnerships and engaging the community in salmon habitat restoration and watershed stewardship is the mission of SFEG. We regularly sponsor environmental programs to help them further their reach and increase their impact. Their efforts also dovetail nicely with our fish protection programs in the region.
Skagit River Bald Eagle Awareness Team
Through their interpretive center, this group works to increase the protection of and public appreciation for the Skagit Watershed ecosystem. We sponsor their year-round educational programs about Bald Eagle and habitat conservation.
Skagit Valley College Foundation
We annually sponsor the Staff Excellence Award, which recognizes the extraordinary accomplishments of the Skagit Valley College faculty and their dedication to their students.
Skagit County Community Action Agency
"Puget Sound Energy is a vital part of the fabric of our community and our agency. In our service to over 30,000 low-income Skagit County residents each year, Community Action appreciates the opportunity to provide nearly a half-million dollars per year of PSE HELP funds directly to our clients. We know first hand of PSE's commitment to community, and to Community Action, and we know that we are but one way in which PSE creates a strong, caring and vibrant Skagit County."

Skagit County Community Action Agency, Mount Vernon
Other Skagit County organizations we sponsor
Skagit Land Trust, Leadership Skagit Program, Skagit County Food Distribution Center and Swinomish Earth Day Celebration, just to name a few.
Energy efficiency grants and rebates
Over the past five years we have provided more than $5.6 million in commercial business energy efficiency grants and more than $250,000 in residential rebates in Skagit County.
