David Mills named Vice President of Energy Supply Operations

New executive position to lead utility’s energy trading, transmission and natural gas supply functions

BELLEVUE, Wash. (Sept. 27, 2012) — Puget Sound Energy has promoted David Mills to the new position of Vice President of Energy Supply Operations. Effective Oct. 1, Mills will leave his current position as director of Energy Supply and Planning to lead a team that will manage energy trading and transmission services, including the load office and natural gas supply functions. He will report to Paul Wiegand, Senior Vice President of Energy Operations.

Mills joined PSE in 2002 and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Pacific Northwest Utilities Conference Committee, the Executive Committee of Columbia Grid and the Executive Committee of the Western Systems Power Pool. Prior to PSE, David was with the Bonneville Power Administration and served in the U.S. Navy.
